Secoya Health FAQs
What is Secoya Health’s approach to care?
Secoya Health provides holistic, natural, whole-person wellness care by combining modern technology with ancient healing practices. They focus on uncovering root causes, not just managing symptoms, and offer services across structural, neuroemotional, and biochemical dimensions.
What’s the difference between integrative care and conventional care?
Conventional care often focuses on diagnosing and treating symptoms—typically through medications or procedures. While it plays an important role (especially for acute or emergency situations), it may not always address the deeper root causes of chronic health issues.
Integrative care, like what we provide at Secoya Health, takes a more holistic, root-cause approach. We look at how your lifestyle, environment, nutrition, emotional health, and genetics all interact to influence your well-being. Instead of asking “What medication for this diagnosis?” we ask, “Why is this happening in the first place?”
We combine the best of modern science with natural healing practices to create a personalized plan that supports long-term healing—not just short-term symptom relief.
What services do you offer?
Secoya Health offers a broad spectrum of services, including:
● Direct Primary Care (DPC)

● Nutrition counseling
● Brain-based wellness (e.g., neurofeedback)
● Chiropractic brain-body balancing

What kinds of health issues does Secoya Health support?
They focus on holistic health improvement rather than treating specific diseases—but many conditions respond well to their protocols, such as autoimmune disorders, fibromyalgia, gut issues, hormonal imbalances, Lyme disease, chronic fatigue, headaches, ADHD, PTSD, and more.

Tests can be done in-office or at home, depending on your care plan.
What’s the contract length and termination policy?
Memberships start with a 12‐month commitment, but you may terminate anytime. If you do and later choose to rejoin, a $300 re-registration fee applies. How do I get started as a new patient?
Do you treat children?

How do I refer someone to Secoya Health?
Referring a friend or family member is one of the highest compliments we can receive, and we truly appreciate your trust. You can easily refer to someone by visiting the “Refer a Friend” section on our website and submitting their information.
Although we don’t have a formal referral program at this time, we always make sure to personally thank you for helping others find compassionate, whole body care.
Do you Provide Direct Primary Care?
Yes! Secoya Health proudly offers Direct Primary Care (DPC) as part of our commitment to personalized, whole-person healthcare. Our DPC model gives you easy, direct access to your provider without the need for insurance billing—ensuring more time, better communication, and a stronger provider-patient relationship.
What is Direct Primary Care?
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a membership-based healthcare model that removes the complexity of insurance. For a flat monthly fee, you receive:
● Unlimited access to your provider via phone, text, or email
● Same-day or next-day appointments
● Longer, unhurried visits
● Transparent pricing and no surprise bills
It’s healthcare focused on you, not paperwork. This model supports more personalized, proactive care—and can often save money in the long run. Explore the benefits of DPC: secoyahealthprimarycare.com
What does the patient process look like at Secoya Health?
At Secoya Health, your care begins with a consultation to determine the best path: a functional
care package, a Direct Primary Care (DPC) membership, or pay-per-visit care.
● Functional Care Packages (e.g., Biochemical Care):
Start with a comprehensive intake ($397–$507), lab testing, and a customized plan. Total package costs range from $3,000–$8,000.
● DPC Memberships:
Monthly membership includes unlimited visits, same/next-day access, and lab discounts. Pricing: $47–$277/month depending on age and complexity.
● Non-Member Visits:
Pay-as-you-go visits available:
○ Level 1 (20 min): $152
○ Level 2 (40 min): $252
○ Labs: ~$237 + test fees
What if I’m concerned about the cost of care at Secoya Health?
We understand that healthcare costs can be a concern, and we’re committed to transparent pricing and helping you make informed decisions.
At Secoya Health:
● There are no surprise bills or hidden fees—you’ll always know the cost up front.
● We offer flexible options: pay-per-visit, comprehensive care packages, and monthly DPC memberships.
● Many clients find that our root-cause approach leads to fewer appointments, medications, and long-term costs compared to conventional care.
● You’re also welcome to start with a single visit or consultation before committing to a larger plan.
While we don’t bill insurance, we can provide superbills for potential reimbursement, and we
encourage using HSA or FSA funds if applicable.
Do you accept health insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid? Can I use my HSA or FSA?
Secoya Health does not bill insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid, which allows us to provide more personalized, transparent, and relationship-based care without third-party restrictions.
However:
● You can use your HSA (Health Savings Account) or FSA (Flexible Spending Account) to pay for many services.
● We can provide a superbill upon request, which you may submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
● Medicare patients are welcome, but must sign a one-time waiver acknowledging that neither you nor Secoya will bill Medicare.
I’m unsure if Secoya Health is the right fit for me. What should I do?

At Secoya Health, we prioritize listening to you, answering all your questions, and making sure
you feel comfortable every step of the way. We recommend starting with a consultation to discuss your goals and concerns. This low-pressure visit gives you a chance to meet your provider, learn about our approach, and decide if it feels like the right fit—no commitments required.
